Συγκλονισμένος είναι ο πλανήτης από την τρομοκρατική επίθεση στην πολυσύχναστη παραλία Bondi της Αυστραλίας. Συγκεκριμένα δύο ένοπλοι άνοιξαν πυρ εναντίον πλήθους που είχε συγκεντρωθεί για τον εορτασμό της πρώτης νύχτας του Χανουκά. Από την επίθεση σκοτώθηκαν 12 άνθρωποι, μεταξύ άλλων και ένας από τους δράστες.
Ένας ένας ηγέτες και πολιτικοί από όλο τον κόσμο στέλνουν τα συλλυπητήρια τους στην Αυστραλία, καταδικάζουν την επίθεση και δίνουν το μήνυμα ότι ο αντισημιτισμός δεν έχει θέση στην κοινωνία. Μάλιστα ο πρόεδρος του Ισραήλ, Ισαάκ Χέρτζογκ, μιλάει για σκληρή επίθεση εναντίον των Εβραίων και ζητάει μέτρα προστασίας από τις επιθέσεις εναντίον τους.
